Klaus wasn't the villain in the whole AVZ debacle but makes an easy target. Talk about biting the hand that feeds! Klaus gave punters the opportunity to participate in a 15-bagger. Anyone who bought much higher and ended up on a loss committed the Cardinal Sin of buying someone else's bagger and not using a stop, which is about the biggest mistakes you can make with highly speculative, pre-revenue, companies.
Unless you're an absolute guru geologist, buying multiples higher than insiders on spec miners rarely ends well. And even if you are a guru geologist, that might still not be enough, if you don't know the "gameplan" behind closed doors.
We've all done it over the years but what defines the person is whether they own their mistake or blame others.
