Hamish certainly seemed in no doubt back in 2014 when he wrote down the value of the escarpment holding to zero; that the development of the mine would not create any ongoing liabilities for Bathurst moving forward. At least according to this interview for NBR.
Odd that he would then show up at the recent hearing as a witness for L&M stating that his understanding of the word shipping at the time of negotiations in line with L&M's
