That existing director is subject to media allegations of being involved in an R&D fraud during his time at German company Choren where it is alleged data was faked in order to get government grants. Now he is involved in another R&D controversy at LWP where there are again question marks over testing data.

This information, along with everything else, would have weighed into the decision of AusTrade to reject LWPs application and would have been considered by the ATO in their investigations into LWPs rejected R&D application.
