Going forward Telstra is not going to be the dividend beast it was. Consistently spewing out all its earnings as dividends.
Therefore the "Shorten Effect" won't be as relevant, even IF a) Shorten gets in and b) Shorten actually follows through with his promise (and is it even a LAW promise, or just a 'idea promise' lol)
I am not worried.
