CP the next few years are going to be tough, no doubt about it. FY19 underlining profits are going to be down on FY18. And it gets worse FY20 underlying profits are probably FY20 underlying profits will be below FY19. So why am I starting to take a position now. Because the market is forward looking. When did the market price for TLS peak, wasn't it early 2015? So did the smart money start to exit from then? Conversely there will be a time when the smart money will start to come back into Telstra? Could I be too early in starting to take a position in Telstra ? Quite probably, after all my gut feeling is that tls could go as low as $2.00. In the short term the market is a voting machine, in the long term it's a weighing machine. What I am confident in is that by the time the market sees the logic why HISTORICAL price moves occurs, it will be too late.
