the problem is choosing the right ones, ones that can assimilate and speak the language and adapt to our culture, who are qualified and not become a burden, ones that can adapt to our culture and not us to there's and that also includes burqas as the shy's of the insist we should.
we are not a basket case and there is a limit to our generosity, we already accept our fair share of refugees to meet our UN commitments, immigrants are a different story and we are wearing blinkers if we don't see the reality of it

Immigrants do not pay taxes.
Profits and work efforts from the sale of goods and services pay taxes.
Immigrants do not meet the needs of older Australians necessarily. The two notions are mutually exclusive except for immigrants creating burden and getting welfare taken from pensioners!!
