June 29 (Reuters) - Australian iron ore miner Atlas Iron (AGO) on Friday unanimously recommended the A$390 million ($287 million) bid from Australian billionaire Gina Rinehart's Hancock Prospecting for the miner.
The recommendation comes days after a unit of iron ore miner Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) requested to delay the bid, seeking further disclosures.
Atlas said it expects the Hancock offer to open early next week.
