HALF YEAR RESULTS Further to our announcement on 20 February 2008, MFS Limited (MFS) has applied to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) for an extension of time in which to lodge its financial results for the 6 month period ended 31 December 2007. Material events over the past five weeks have led to difficulties in finalising the appropriate carrying values of tangible and intangible assets and determining other disclosures. MFS will be in a better position to inform the market as to the likely timing of the release of its accounts once it has received feedback from ASIC in relation to the application for an extension and after further discussions with its Auditor, KPMG. CITY PACIFIC MFS confirms that it has been notified by City Pacific Ltd (City Pacific) that it will not be making any offer for any MFS Financial Services assets. All discussions between MFS and City Pacific in relation to the MFS Financial Services assets have ceased. KIM KERCHER MFS has reluctantly accepted the resignation, for personal reasons, of company secretary Ms Kim Kercher. The Company thanks Ms Kercher for her contribution and wishes her well for the future. Ms Kercher was one of two company secretaries. The other secretary, Mr David Anderson, who is also MFS’ Chief Financial Officer, remains in that role.
