- Head of funds, Alistair Davidson was formerly a Director at Aurora Funds Management. If you are unfamiliar with them, most of their funds performed poorly and their (ASX listed) business basically failed. I've interviewed him before and never really been impressed. Personally, I wouldn't put my money in anything he was involved with.

At the end of the day, there are plenty of other transparent, highly experienced operators of equity income funds out there, Legg Mason, Lazard etc.

Occam, when you say 'you interviewed Alistair Davidson', may I ask why and in what capacity.
I certainly agree with your opinion of Aurora funds (mis)management, one worth steering clear of imo.
