I don't think it's just about buzzwords. If I were an influencer and saw a means of validating my reach, while at the same time giving support to a system that could separate the wheat from the chaff and build confidence in the influencer space, then I would support it. Like the article mentions it's a win win for all the participants. I like the concept.
