Plenty of information regarding the BAPE process online.
Working as an Environmental Advisor and specifically in mining in Australia it really looks like these guys have stuffed up. Eithet largely through being ignorant of the approval process or betting on their community consultation skills.
To put this in perspective it may only take one particularly vocal objectee to trigger this as opposed to a majority.
Project will be delayed to some extent but if SYA have been thorough in their assessment of impacts then this will likey be a speed hump as opposed to a threat to approval.
