Normally would expect this sort of buying to just end up tracking the avge daily price over the purchase period, thus avoiding some risk (saving money?) if the sp moves lower. It may also stop the sp being pushed higher should a very large bid appear.
However, at the parcel size and rate this buyer is taking them up, he's only going to get about 25K/day, unless he's also picked up some of the larger parcels gone through.
Anybody else got a take on the reason/s?
