Financially the TPG/SOT merger looks very attractive. But much of this happy scenario depends on whether the merged entity is well run and efficient. It appears that ultimately TPG will run the show.
I'm a bruised and battered SOUL customer. Pitiable service (how does an average of 45 mins wait for service appeal?), an unfriendly website, with installation instructions written by lawyers with troublesome haemorrhoids. Essentially you are on your own.
In contrast, TPG's website is friendly and accessible. Their service is also reputed to be excellent. Furthermore, Chariot has improved markedly since TPG bought a controlling interest.
Are my comments accurate...or does hope spring eternal? Any TPG customers with comments?
