Speaking of soap, I went to buy my usual supply of country life at the local coles the other day and they weren't there. Hopefully they are back there next time.
At the moment ptl are matching discounting to protect the brands. I guess they have little choice. If they lose that war then the value of the brands will diminish and they wont even have anything worth taking over. Pretty high risk play this one imo. Would be hoping for a takeover bid if I were holding.
