Ok so you need 126MWh per day to power a Nemaska size plant according to their FS (not sure where Oz's number came from). Let's use the on average 6 hrs per day of sunlight that means you need at a minimum 21MW of solar panels. Thats about 84 acres of land and $21m capital cost.
You would then want probably at least nearly a day's worth of battery capacity so say a 100MW battery. That is probably going to cost another $200m.
And then the $600m+ for the Hydroxide plant originally.
So is it doable, yeah I guess it is. Who is going to fund it? .... oh right. The Chinese.
