In an interesting development, a google of 'Arena Reit' turns up an interesting read; looks like they had a tender in for the re-development of Waringah Golf Course into quite an extensive sporting hub. I dunno, looks like a decent way to diversify the portfolio to me, assuming they win it. The article (behind the paywall) reads that they were the preferred tender and are now in negotiations with council.
Could be an interesting story to follow, and indeed - what this might lead Arena into developing in the future.
