Please provide evidence to support this allegation....not the unsubstanciated kind either, but hard evidence that would stand up in court. I find much that @youmav posts to be informative, as opposed to the pie in the sky IMHO type posts that appear.

    Hi @fatusmaximus

You are right, we did discuss this a while back and various opinions were expressed. Still, even now, I wish it was easy to answer your question. To put it simply, with hindsight, I'd say that what you quoted are simply generic statements not related to anything specific.

There was/is a web of companies involved, TV2U Pty Ltd submitted some patents, TV2U Singapore acquired the rights, TARA IP took over and resubmitted the patents and some more, Talico Technologies in Singapore apparently owns them today. All the submissions made in Australia were left to lapse and none was ever granted (see attached extracts from IP Australia). So not sure what they own exactly. My suspicion at the time (when I did my due diligence on TV2U) was that these patents were filed to pump the company value during the negotiations with Galicia and once the deal was sealed they were left to lapse. Some companies do that! The Independent Report and the Galicia recommendations in 2015 kind of hinted to that.

Up until January 2017, I was unable to identify any patent actually granted to TV2U, TARA IP, or TALICO in Australia (https://www.ipaustralia.gov.au/), in Singapore (https://www.ipos.gov.sg/), or in the UK (https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/intellectual-property-office). I can't however qualify my research as definitive as patents may have been submitted in other jurisdictions or under another name (personal or company).

I am actually looking forward to the next Annual Report. The Chairman who will sign it this time is a lawyer and I hope he will check the accuracy of the claims and provide references to the granted patents (if any). A granted patent is public info so there is no reason not to disclose it.

Attached are my old DD notes (cut and paste, unedited), I hope they will give you some insight, but please remember that these were just my thoughts at the time.
The two source documents for my research were:
    https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20150603/pdf/42yz766wl68ztm.pdf
    https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20151211/pdf/433r1s5xf5tcrx.pdf
Better you read them and reach your own conclusions.

    Cheers
