re: cu & ag...flag has formed?..nt
Now "Fats" don't get too excited.
Check all of my many posts on AVL in the past.
You will find rather than ramping am a little on the conservative side. You will probably also note that my "intuituitive" predictions are usually very close to the mark.
So no ramping. Just reasonable predictions based on information.
And that is so now.
So why would January be significant?
Well the answer will be repetition - or more of the same - for those following this company.
But here goes.
1. Announcement of intention to list in Canada. (predicted) 2. Release of quarterly report. AVL continues to improve production and profits well above budget - expenses below budget. 3. Q report will also indicate a growth of funds in reserve ("war chest"?) in addition to funds avaiable from Rand Bank. 4. Q Report will outline Stage 2 infrastructure development progress. Many are already aware completion is in May and profits from mining will double once stage 2 infrastructure is in place. 4. Exploration progress may be indicated - both locally in Congo but perhaps the Vietnam area will be more prominent.
There are no doubt other matters too. Including growing awareness by institutions of AVL, undervalued share price, institutional buying/capping - turn-over of up to over 2 million shares on a given day.
Anvil management usually (always?) deliver on time - on budget.
Now SLT is a different matter. Posts ramping this company months ago were pure ramp. Those pushing were obviously selling.
Lately there are posts of purely emotional wank. Predicting announcements as "imminent" - wanking over market turnover of less than 2-3 hundred thousand shares (actually based on 12 - 15 thousand share turnover - even based on number of buy/sell bids-unconsumated - often withdrawn)
Now SLT may be OK. May turn out OK in 04.
But stupid predictions which I denounced as unreasonable - ie I declared that there would be no contract signed before Christmas (plaintedly obvious from share price and share turnover), - etc are not a sensible way to go.
So my approach is steady in both matters. AVL and SLT - that is.
