I do not know the facts of this situation but when you use language like "the fear of long term environmental concerns" you are playing to the gallery of public opinion and being a member of the vocal minority. Fears are not facts.

However, if there are facts that indicate the processes are not what they should be that is another story. That does require discussion of verifiable fact though and not 'fears' of any nature.

It's also dangerous to argue political motivations as the basis of a scientific issue. Your Brexit argument has half the British population in agreement with you but the other half opposed.

I note from one of the posts above that Lynas is apparently very transparent and despite years of hoop jumping in an attempt to inform, they are ready, willing and able to do it all again.
