Australia’s welfare is too generous. I don’t have an issue with truely incapacitated. However the dregs that chose to have 5 kids from 5 fathers and sit on welfare all day smoking and drinking, in free public housing, well yes I do. Or the individuals who do get injured on the job (fair enough and go on workcover), but then chose to game the system despite recovered for the rest of their life even though they are out playing sport or surfing whilst on disability benefits. It’s costing us a fortune and truely a national disgrace.
My point on dva was not directed at you per se. But all. I’m not against disability benefits, but welfare in this country is a joke. Way to lax.
