I agree with the most of you are writing.
They (Lynas) have to get through it (with hopefully not too high cost increasement) and - in my opinion - they have to transform their process (benefication, chemical pre-separation) into a form, that keeps the radionucleides in Australia (LAMP2?) - with the option to store remaining uncommercializeable Th & U waste back in the mine.
Kuantan can then keep the LAMP for separation and downstream product finalisation of unseparated RE-mixes ... maybe also as a tolling separation plant for others (if they cut off their Th & U before delivery.
There are options, that would favour the new government - others than "rely on the acceptance, that all is harmless".
