What you claimed was "the Korean trials failed", although you provided no evidence to back your claim. Eden said they were "successful". There could be any number of reasons for not pursuing a commercial agreement, for instance the terms being unacceptable to both parties.
When you refer to the new agreement as "mumbo jumbo" you are clearly making a judgement that it is worthless. That isn't necessarily the case.
