Afternoon Trading July 12th

Croatia - I love this team. When I fell asleep they were 1 nil down and gone and when I woke up they'd won. There's something about them that reminds me of the 'Dirty Dozen' or that generation of Hollywood actors that were actual war heroes - Charles Bronson, Lee Marvin etc. Now we get Ryan Gosling. Geezuz. I keep wishing that Neymar Neymar from Brazil had run into them "Here, we'll help you take a dive Neymar." I hope they win the final they look like they know how to party and if the French win they'll probably just burn McDonalds and I like the hash browns there - I know I know my bad.

Great trading lesson right there with the Croatians. Get the ball and put it in the net. Nothing else matters at that point in time. Trading can be an escape from your problems or a magnification of them. I have generally found sport to provide the best training for trading. The sheer unjustness of it at times, the rough bounce, the umpires mistake, the lucky shot, can you find a way to smile and keep going...? Amazing how the game comes back to you sometimes if you do

Not much business content I know but Trumpy, Turnbull et all are just not doing it these last 24 hours and 200 billion of tariffs is so far not hurting the spec end one bit. We can live in our own world a bit longer Been a very productive morning. Hope you are all killing it.
