They would be very popular policies with most Labor voters who have been calling for such measures for a long time.
Negative gearing and refunding franking credits are both despicable taxation policies which mostly only benefit the well off.
Most Australians derive no benefit from these concessions and are actually harmed by them as the government plunges further into debt and cuts services to try to balance it's budget.
