factory expansion

It seems that all is going to plan.
An excerpt from Simon HACKETT’s post on 1^st February this year…
“As to the 250 batteries per month figure - that number is the design capacity of the first line in Thailand. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s a stepping-stone, not a ceiling.
There is no rational world in which we'd build something bigger than that up front - we need to prove the outcome in Thailand meets our stated goals and then increase production capacity beyond that in line with and in response to customer demand.”
The announcement of 6^th July reports the “establishment of a high quality and consistent manufacturing of the ZBM2 battery” at the rate of 90 batteries per month. As noted by Simon above that can be increased to 250 batteries per month which is the design capacity of the first line.
I stand to be corrected on this, but I understand that they can then install a second line in the present factory which will allow production to be increased again before undertaking the expansion of the existing facility to ramp up production even further.
