Short update July 15; Last week shorting accounted for 15% to 30% of daily turnover.
The latest data released is up to Thursday July 12.
Total short stock has increased to 7.73% of total stock.

New methodology: To get a more up-to-date total shorts estimate, (July 12 vs July 9), I took the latest total short data from the shortman graph, which has data to July 9, and then added the daily shorts for July 10, 11 and 12. An then divided the total by the stock issues (47,709,025).
