Spent time in Singapore. More air conditioners per head than most places. Hong Kong too.

Generally speaking I think more innovative ideas have come from cold countries compared to those near the tropics. But lots of factors involved.

But I would have to say parts of outback Qld have the most stupid people I have ever encountered. Constant heat is a possibility.
