POGroms, for the unitiated, was when the peasants in poland or russia or elsewhere, used to on occasion turn on the jews in their village & bash them, rob them & occasionally kill them, under whatever pretence.
this served as an outlet for their frustrations - oppression, bad harvest, who knows maybe losses on the sharemarket???
either way, such a course of action is hardly imaginable today. the peasants on hotcopper will need to find a different solution to their personal problems.
