The following is purely theoretical. I have heard nothing.
Overnight I was musing about the seeming delays in expected announcements, and in particular the TOR for PE. While the obvious explanation is bureaucracy, and the next most probable an extension sought by COP (and/or its proxy Woodside), might it also be possible the TOR have been released to both parties but not made public? Might COP/WPL have been spooked by the realisation their position is weak? Might they in fact now be talking with FAR? Or even just talking to each other? Might a settlement finally emerge? And could this situation be delaying the JV announcement on commerciality?
Like I say, speculation only, prompted by impatience, but then, hey, this is Hot Copper after all.
