JAL at its highest point in nearly 5 years still, and up over 64% after this announcement (which was less than 2 weeks ago) and showing no signs of going any lower than this bigly increase, market cap up over $20m.

Meanwhile ol' BRL is at the other end of the spectrum. BRL not even up 7% and market cap wise is up about $15m.

Although BRL do have to pay for it, what makes it a 'bad joke' is that BRL are the ones in the drivers seat, have reduced political risk, will substantially benefit financially, among other very serious positives of this expansion. Funny also that some days (maybe even most) there is still more shares traded (dollar wise!) on JAL than there is on BRL - despite BRL having a market cap 4x bigger: now that is crazy.

I haven't even mentioned the rest of the positive company presentation released the same day which included a 4th EBITDA upgrade, and all sorts of other details on domestic operation expansion, but then again, when the market doesn't even care about the potentially fantastic JAL agreement, why would they care about much else?

On another note - I realized we have not seen a conversion notice for an extremely long time now. Still a decent amount of convertible notes that nobody seems to be converting - clearly the big guys would rather get their 8% coupon than sell at the current market price, which like me, they probably think is woefully undervalued (and unlike me, they are sitting on even larger paper gains!).

JAL now double the price it was prior to the annoucement, and market cap wise has added twice as what has been added to BRL - truly crazy stuff. Meanwhile, if anythign, BRL showing signs of going back to where it was prior to the announcement (only a cent ish away)

Good to see someone from the JV benefiting, it ain't BRL (yet anyway).
