I have been saying this year after year after year, just be careful. "Humanly not possible" can come into focus real quick.
Why not sell now and re buy after the results if they are good, sure you may miss out on a few pips but at least you are not exposed.
May I ask - what metrics are you using that tell you that at 2.81 the price is undervalued and should be continuing higher? (I really hope its more than technical analyses).
And/Or another much more important question:
How much NPAT / Gross / EPITDA / Whatever would Slaters have to post in August in order for the price to go back to $3.61 where you would be back in the black?
SGH usually release their results on the last day of August - the latest day possible by law. Often a bad sign but not necessarily. I can't find their calendar online which may mean they don't know themselves, often a bad sign. The fact that they haven't posted any update on guidance or any change in the expected business since Feb strongly suggests to me that they have not uncovered any magical revenue that will pleasantly surprise the market.
