azzumah---11/11/1975--where was i?--bk Broken Hill--we got the papers late (where I lived) (in a small community some way from the Hill) and didn't read about it for a day or two afterwards.--re 11/11/1975--the dismissal.

On election night 1975--I was on a train--the "Silver City Comet"--travelling towards Sydney--(changing at Parkes.)--listening to the election on a transistor radio I had--with the earphones in my ears--looking out the train window at things as the train rolled along.
