It's not the calibre of university yak. That is difficult to assess. It's the calibre of the graduates.
If you attended Columbia and took Psychology, yet you're a bombastic authoritarian closed-minded barbarian with no remnants of psychology knowledge other than a few catch-phrases that you could have picked up off the net, what does that say for the university?
