hedgie...lol....as i said, there are times when its worth putting super in high risk areas and times when taking the conversative option pays off. in the last 18 months of the bull run, i did just that by splitting my portfolio into 3-4 areas with small caps and property being by far the best performers - and doubled my super in that time.
if i could have put my money in a fund/s that went short on the best performers of late stage bull runs, i could continue to make a killing. i noticed in a report from my super fund that the property fund is down some 40% over the last 6 months. man, if only we had access to u.s. style etf's - wouldn't managing super be more fun during bear markets.
thanks for your offer.....but, i'm happy to wait for the next bull to double my money again. :)
