Live export company, Wellard, has offered a potential lifeline for West Australian farmers wanting to get their animals to the Middle East.
It came as about a thousand farmers gathered in the WA great southern town of Katanning to push for an end to the impasse which has stopped live sheep being sent to Kuwait this northern summer.
The impasse began when another company, Emanuel Exports, had its license suspended over animal welfare concerns.
