Further to my previous posts on the subject, I note that the Federal government is toying with the idea to legislate that newly arrived migrants will be sent to regional areas to reduce the pressure on our big city infrastructure. This may or may not work, given the availability of jobs in these areas and the resultant stress on rural, natural resources - water in particular. Nevertheless, if this policy was introduced, it would change the dynamic for property in both areas (city and bush).
And please, no racist rants required.
