Whilst I have one or two muslim friends myself and realize that muslims do take their religion differently to one another the problem remains that at it's heart their bible, the koran, does tell them that the believers are supreme and non-believers are infidel dirt.

This makes for very poor social policy, in fact probably breaches human rights and equal opportunity laws in Australia, and certainly makes it difficuly or impossible for devout muslims to integrate into any non-muslim social system.

On the subject of our loss of freedoms Australians have been giving those away for fifty years by accepting more and more rules and regulations governing nearly everything we do or attempt to do anything from building a house to operating a business there is endless red tape and barriers put in your way.
