Everything NSW does is a knee jerk reaction and comes too late and is usually at huge cost and waste for the tax payer.
I have read that with the current immigration by the time all this infrastructure is complete it will already be at full capacity.
All that will happen is the new toll roads will cost a fortune yet it will be bumber to bumber like it is now.
Saturday traffic will be insane as it is now which is worse than weekdays in most places.
The trams may be fabulous but everyone considered them an addition yet the fact is all the government will do is cut back bus services and before you know it the trams will be full as the buses are now.
I hope not but that is usually how they do things to cut costs.if there is a backlash then they just increase speeding fine under the old trying to keep us safe rubbish.Hopeless but at least we did not pay $1 billion to not build a $1 billion dollar toll road like the Victorian State government.
Having said that they did sell off many schools and land and now they have to build more schools.
They sold off the power stations and poles for little return and now need to beg them to keep electricity prices down while power prices tripled in 10 years.Fools they are and all have NFI how to run an efficient state.

of course you don't.
Better they don't build them at all then?
Should they sit on their hands and build nothing like Bob Carr and his cronies did for the better part of 16 years?
It was the same who closed a lot of the high schools and sold them off.
"the fact is all the government will do is cut back bus services" not sure that is fact at all.
They haven't done that with the inner west light rail.
It's politics so no one will agree, but despite some appalling decisions, this NSW gov is actually getting $#!% done.
So credit where credit is due.
