Here we go again. People selling stock as a milestone approaches. It is very disconcerting. I hope no one says "This is a good opportunity to top up!" If I wanted to 'top up' I would have done so long ago.
Whilst in this sort of frame of mind I have an online charting programme and for something to do I brought up a chart of the All-Ord's and ran an overlay of GDY on top of it.
I was not expecting to see a close correlation but in fact the two have been running side by side since the middle of last year. I don't think there is any way to post charts on this security mad site, (like that needs you to 'agree' to its 'Terms of Use' policy EVERY time you log on and disclose your position/sentiment on a stock and half a dozen other things EVERY time you post etc.).
But, if you are able to display live charts at home you might want to do an overlay and check this. If you know how to post it better still. Let all have a look and also tell us how you do it.
