These positive outcomes have been tempered by notices of intent to cancel PDL 10, PL 10 and the Stanley Gas Agreement recently received by the PDL 10 joint venture from the PNG Petroleum Minister. The licensees submitted a written response to the Minister on 24 July 2018. The Stanley field in PDL 10 accounts for about 20% of the aggregated gas resource that is planned to supply Western LNG.
