Have no idea but if they were a major shareholder they have to declare it. I think an institution or two thinking Gina is going to increase her offer. I can't see a new bid, she has about 25% and there will be more in the post. A new bidder is up against 50% (FMG and Redstone) so they have no hope. I think an institution or two hoping for the bid to be increased .
I thought we might get a bidding war early on but not now. A bidding war would be great but the opportunity is past unless FMG suddenly enter the fray and I don't think they are after that.
From my reading it is all about the port access and future development . To just guess (and it is a guess) I think a FMG Redstone deal over the port will follow this (after a polite pause) and the WA government will allow it.
