I would suggest that it was never FMG's intention to takeover AGO in the sense of 100% ownership. Having 75% is only crucial to de-list an entity (not guaranteed, needs to be applied for) which is only relevant to Redstone. 50.1% effectively gives anyone (FMG, Redstone, door #3) full control as they get the majority of the board seats & management appointment/s.
