Go to you tube and search Jay Leno Divergent blade. It is a clip made in 2015 of a car that was made using a lot of 3D printing. The clip really shows just how simple it is for manufacturers large and small to utilise 3D printing. The "retooling" process as it were will become a none issue as there is no retooling involved. It will just be a matter of computer design then manufacture. This removes huge costs involved in making new models of cars, planes, robots and whatever else one can think of.
