"Peter Strachan's recent report." you had better re-read it yourself. The power consumption for producing one tonne of FeMn is totally incorrect. (ie page 4  says 1.87KWh of power)
Most Aussie household hot water systems use more power than your mate Peter Strachan says that GMC will use to produce one tonne of FeMn. The bloke is a fool.
