1/ What's your point in constantly pointing out that Lynas has largest scale operation? You speak as though it's not just bigger, but something new altogether. That's not logical. It's bigger, yes. That doesn't automatically mean it's doing a better job than a smaller facility. Will they be able to achieve lower COP? MAYBE. The Chinese are never going to cut their own throats by requiring ludicrous environmental costs be paid such as those that may well be imposed on Lynas. So NO, I don't think Lynas I is a world-beater on COP. You speak as though Lynas has achieved some new state of being. It's simply larger, dude.
2/ "There are a number of low cost..." Totally unproven. I worked around chelators for years. Few are cheap. Techniques for loading and unloading are not suitable for production of pure REEs, even if separation is achieved, which is highly unlikely with the exception of a very few pairs. Concept is flawed. Name as many "alt processes" as you think meet your description. I'll investigate them all.
3/ What new hysteria? That NdFeB-based PMMs have competition? That's undeniable. That SRMs and ferrite-assisted SRMs are taking market share in certain apps? Undeniable. That said competition is increasing? Undeniable.
Nowhere did I say that this means a negative CAGR for NdPr. Your objection is unresponsive.
I'm an investor based on long term demand.
