Travelightor, can't see much point to your post regarding tls employee reductions, whats the alternative ,no alternative.
I actually like what tls is doing such as pivatol (splitting workforce ie 5,000 to work within pivatol platform, vtech, infraco, self sufficient energy development, coheres, docusign, esport, simplification of fixed network ie selling $2b of non productive cost reducing assets,8000 employee reduction,NAS,sea cables, the iot's revenue growth and obviously leading global development in 5g etc.
As you are a shareholder of tpg, well there entering a mobile industry with very restricted assets, but agree very strategic assets. But it will be interesting, although tpg has done very well out of their relationship with vodafone ie building vodafones mobile fixed infrastructure, they still will continue to be reliant on vodafones mobile network even when tpg has rolled out its limited mobile network ie they are a re seller of vodafone.
So the question is,if you were vodafone and finally understood you have been played by tpg for so long and tpg will rely on vodafones network for some time, what would you do with tpg if you were vodafone?.
All those re seller customers up for grabs, tpg still reliant on vodafone for some time and as you suggest tpg no voice for how long?,vodafone and belong all chasing the low end customers.
imo your post on tls employee reductions is trivial compared to how tpg and vodafone are going to respond as tpg starts to take control of its vodafone re seller customers from vodafone ,hmm lets see how vodafone responds.
