Appraisal wells r bit expensive as they need to factor in additional costs for flowtesting to prove the reservoir's deliverability et al and also cut full cores from the reservoir for Lab work. Production wells r a different beast altogether as they could b planned as horizontal or high angle wells (instead of vertical wells).

Still early days for production, as they need appraisal, DST from different locations on this Field, few Kms away from Dorado-1 to increase the confidence.

Bit of mix of lease & purchased vessel, cant tell teh exact spec's as its a very competitive mkt out there.

- Apache bought the FPSO NV for its Van Gogh for USD185 mil.
- The one at Pyrenees was supplied by Modec. FPSO was budgeted in the dev cost.
- WPL contracted SBM for the FPSO Okha, as it came out of Sakhalin (Russia).
- The one at Enfield was built at Samsung's yard in Korea.  
- Ellen Maersk was a oil tanker & was converted to an FPSO for Vincent oilfield.
- The one at Buffalo was re-deployed in Thailand at Jasmine. Dont knw what its doing now.
- Lam/Cor use the FPSO Northern Endeavour.
- PTTEP converted an oiltanker M.T. Freeway to FPSO Montara Venture
- Conoco plan to hold a comp betwn 2 providers (Modec & Technic-Samsung) to select a FPSO for Barossa Field.
