The construction cost was reported in April as up to $585 m. GF will pay its share up to $550.7 m. So in worst case GOR may have to pay an extra $34.3 m out of its own funds. This translates into around 4 cents a GOR share of additional cost which is peanuts when the future cash flows are considered.
There are 33 m of short sold shares just sitting out there waiting to catch the nervous shareholders folding.
Even with this construction cost increase and also $50 m more GOR is a $2 share once producing GOLD.
