What’s described is a classic growth company ... mature business providing great cash flow, growing business that uses some of the cash and expands margins and an embryonic business to provide future growth. Fits the McKinsey Consultants aspirational growth model perfectly (ie. “Alchemy of Growth” by David White et al). The book is 20 years old but still a good read.
