The trading on TNG appears a bit suspicious, particularly near close. Could be shorters, but there does not seem to be much for them here (yet). I realise takeovers are nor usually done before everything is certain BUT, if someone really is willing to chance it, a takeover now would be as cheap as they would ever get. They would not get it at a low price like now or even 30% to 50% markup but they could have a real chance at 50c to a dollar, at least of getting over 50% of the company.
Purchase of a $5 billion project for under a $billion would be a great coup. All just IMO of course, and in any case we would not hear anything until after a mining licence was granted since that is an absolute necessity.
